Our game, Sports Bingo, is inspired by the traditional games of Lotería and Bingo. We're recreating these games with a sports theme! Any players who are interested in sports should know the information of their favorite sports by heart — so we’re here to test their knowledge. Each player can select their preferred game mode from: Basketball, Football, and Soccer. The game is a fun and dynamic mix of Lotería's classic play style combined with Bingo's.
History
Lotería and Bingo
This game is based on a traditional game called Lotería. Originally from Italy, Lotería gained popularity and eventually made its way to Mexico, where it spread rapidly. Today, there are multiple variants of this game. Another game that inspired Sports Bingo is Bingo, which also originated in Italy as Lo Giuoco del Lotto d'Italia. It has been played since the 1530s but became especially popular in 1929.
